Amarin Thai Cuisine

Upon arriving we were all so hungry and excited to try a new place. I was jokingly telling my friend how they must not clean the place much do to the dirty floor and bathroom. Plus the fact of them scooping the ice from a Cooler like the ones you keep at home didn't seem that sanitary. But like I said we were very hungry and had our children and were excited to try a new place. About two to three minutes after ordering the food came out. We looked at each other with amazement and said wow they must have everything pre-preped. First order of business the hair in the food. Now that is gross, sent back that item. We tried a few bites of the other food,but with no appeal. The food was not good. Precooked! You could tell. Plus I think we were plain grossed out. After complaining about how having hair in the food and the food not being good, all these guys from the back kept coming out to stare at us. It was the most uncomfortable experience and we still had to pay. The lady messed up on the bill, overcharging us. It was just one big mess after another. This strip-mall Thai food restaurant should be avoided at all costs.We live nearby, so we've driven by many times. We were in the mood for Thai so we decided to give it a try - HUGE MISTAKE. I thought we had really lucked out because it was prime dining time on Friday night and there was no line. I should have known immediately what that really meant. The service was unremarkable at best and the food was just awful. My wife had food poisoning for a day and a half after eating here. I'm not even kidding - it was like they served us meat that was a week past rancid. When we politely mentioned that the food was inedible, they just shrugged and brought us the bill. Do yourself a huge favor and never eat here.

I just got take out from Amarin in San Jose. When I got home the bamboo beef had hardly any meat and the curry chicken meat was inedible. Don't even bother with this place!

I always do the dine out option - it has become a weekly habit for me. Food is always fresh, tasty, and just the right level of spiciness. One of the best thai restaurants in this area.
